Booking FAQ's

We do not have a delivery / pick-up service. All of our vans must be collected from our depot in Swiss Cottage. We do not have a one-way hire service.

Yes, additional drivers or anybody added onto the contract is £20.00 per person.

Aged 23-25:

  • Clean UK Licence held for 2 years minimum. 
  • No more than ONE minor driving conviction in the last 5 years.

Aged 25-74:

  • Clean UK Licence held for 1 year minimum. 
  • No more than 9 POINTS from minor convictions within the last 5 years.

Non-UK Hirers:

  • Must be aged 25+
  • Must have held a FULL LICENCE for 2 years.

You may amend your booking up to 1 hour prior to collection. Just give us a call on 0207 722 1585 to amend your booking.

If you need to cancel your booking, you must give us 24 hours notice. If you cancel within 24 hours then one days rental will be charged to the card provided at point of booking.

Our rentals come with 150 free miles per day – additional miles are charged at 10p per mile.

It is the Hirers responsibility to ensure that the congestion charge fee is paid. If we recieve the fine,  the liability will be transferred and the hirer will be charged an admin fee.

All of our vehicles are ULEZ compliant. Don’t forget to pay the Congestion Charge!

You can drive our vehicles anywhere on mainland UK. If you’re travelling to Scotland then you must inform us so we can provide adequate insurance cover.

We have several extras available for your rental:

  1. Additional Driver
  2. Satellite Navigation
  3. Baby Seat
  4. Collision Damage Waiver

 

Please let our rental agents know at point of booking if you require any extras for your van rental.

Our rental days are calculated by 24 hours from pick-up.

There is no minimum or maximum hire period, you can rent a vehicle for 1 minute but the minimum charge is 1 day. (Unless you’re a member of our Car Club).

Return the vehicle with approximately the same amount of fuel as commencement. Failure to do so will result in a re-fuelling fee and administration fee.

All rentals commencing / returning from 08:00 on a Friday until 08:00 on Monday will incur an additional £20.00 weekend suppliment fee.

CitiRental will conscientiously retain your details, and not part with them to any third party. CitiRental is associated with Kar-Dok, United Leasing, Tyre Tigers and Parking-Here who may send you offers from time to time. If you wish to unsubscribe and receive no further communication do so here or you can unsubscribe once you receive any communication if you change your mind.
